The emerging ’strong horse’ of the Islamic world

On Dec. 13, 2001, in an interview with CNN, Osama bin Laden said, “When people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature they will like the strong horse.” Osama’s maxim has proven to be the defining philosophy determining the rise or fall of popularity and favor in the Islamic world.
