Adnan Oktar on the Mahdi and Israel’s place under His rule
Again, I wish to emphasize that Mr. Oktar is the most widely read author in the entire Islamic world with over 65,000,000 of his books in circulation in numerous languages. (Excerpts from Mr. Adnan Oktar’s interview on Mavi Karadeniz TV, Kocaeli TV and EkinTürk TV, October 27th, 2009)
PRESENTER: If you permit, I would like to start with questions. This is from Salih Kor in Ankara: “My dear teacher Adnan; I can see that leading world figures are implementing your highly important statements that you make during your interviews and they give speeches in relation to these points. Consequently, these are seen in headlines right away. For instance on the headline of the other day’s Hürriyet daily, the declaration of Ali Akbar Salehi, the Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization was published, saying that nuclear bomb is haram (forbidden in religion). You had explained this topic months ago, it is very nice that Muslims are taking steps in parallel to your most valuable words. I have great respect for you my dear teacher.” We had shown the headline in the Hürriyet daily in our interview on Friday, and what you had said months ago is seen here once again.
ADNAN OKTAR: I have the newspaper with me, see they have made a statement by using exactly the same words. I told them to make this affirmation and that Ahmadinejad should definitely make this declaration because media attaches great significance to his words. One week after the message, this was published. I sent this message about one week ago and the following week it was reported. “Nuclear bomb is haram,” insha’Allah. Our brothers in Israel are very much restless and I am in permanent contact with them. They are in such perturbation that Iran will attack them and they say this was once spoken. They assume Iran would certainly attack even if they (Iranians) had taken back what they had said. This is not possible. Turkey and the Islamic world is there [not to let it happen]. Iran is not a reckless country and it would not act on its own. That is to say, Turkey is the brother in the region so without Turkey’s notice, none of the countries would carry out such an imprudent act. Also more than half of the population in Iran consists of Turks, which means that it is not an unmanageable country, Iran is controllable. Ahmadinejad and Khamenei are not unwitting people and Khamenei is a Turk himself, he is of Turkish origin.
PRESENTER: Dear Teacher, you are in direct communication with high level officials like Ahmadinejad and others, aren’t you?
ADNAN OKTAR: I am in contact with people who consult him directly; this means I am talking to people who meet Ahmadinejad in person. We are sending our regards to one another. He spoke very explicitly about Mahdi (as), Masha’Allah he told all I had explained exactly the same way, may Allah be pleased with him. He is a very humble and mild person, he is like a lamb. Israel’s fear or dread of him is baseless; they should be in complete peace and comfort. Atomic bomb is not within the bounds of possibility. At those times Ahmadinejad got really carried away by exaltation and uttered those words. It may happen, sometimes people slip out words. But he then explained numerous times in a very comprehensive way that it was a mistake. Our friends say these words were spoken once, but they should rest assured that nothing will happen because sometimes a father could say some harsh words to his son but he then expunges those words.
It is wrong for Israel to consider itself like a stranger, because they are our sons, they are the People of the Book. They are the descendants of Prophet Abraham (as), would we ever let anyone touch or harm them? Would we ever let them be aggrieved? If they say Prophet Abraham’s (as) grandchildren are here, what would we do? We would absolutely be very respectful to them and show great courtesy, we would safeguard them and would not let anybody do any harm. They have an pointless restlessness on this matter, Insha’Allah we will be clarifying this issue in the coming days both on radio and television conversations. Which newspaper was it that I interviewed the other day?
OKTAR BABUNA: The Washington Post, this newspaper is one of the largest in circulation in the US and one of the most prominent all around the world.
ADNAN OKTAR: I had a two and a half hour interview with The Washington Post and we will publish it on the Internet, you may view it there. It is an all inclusive report and they said it would be published in about two week’s time. They asked on all topics, everything they were in wonder of such as our case in courts, the Mahdi, end times, Dajjalism, Darwinism, materialism, and we explained them all.
OKTAR BABUNA: Return of Jesus Christ (as).
ADNAN OKTAR: We elucidated on the return of Jesus Christ (as) and Day of Judgement also. These will continue in the days to come, our interviews with such prominent and significant newspapers and foremost television channels are continuing day and night. Sometimes our program is finished here and then we carry on with another program. In summary, sometimes people advocate the same idea but somehow they get in quarrel all of a sudden. I see similar incidents on television when they are in favor of the same opinion but unexpectedly get into dispute. However, we as the Islamic world are in support of the same values with Israel which is brotherhood, love, peace and friendship. Would it ever be possible to inflict any harm to children or people there? Also, our Muslim brothers are restless there due to a possible attack or conquest of Haram al-Sharif or Masjid al-Aqsa. No such thing can or may happen, Allah knows best. Sometimes a very small group of a few in three or five people groupings may get into such feverish acts, but there is no need to take these seriously since nothing like that may happen. But by all means the enormous need for appearance of Mahdi (as) in the Islamic world is better understood in every aspect. See that Mahdi’s advent is a great necessity for Israel, as well as for Palestine, Egypt, Turkey, Iraq, Kirkuk, Turkic Republics, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and the entire Turkish States. Because in an overnight there will be an atmosphere of friendship where a compassionate, merciful, and just person will achieve results straight away and there will be no bureaucratic barriers. Since at the moment in order to just say that you are our friend and we love you, there is requisite for official correspondence. There are bureaucratic barriers for this message to go from one place to another.

As long as Muslims say that Ishmael, not Isaac, went with Abraham in Genesis chapter 22, they will continue to deliberately distort the Holy Scripture. As long as they accuse the Jews & Christians of doing so, without
having produced an undistorted copy of what they say actually happened, they will continue to travel the path they are on: Opposition to the creator of all. For, it is one thing to say that such & such did not happen, it is very different to say, thus & so happened.

he says the president of iran is like a lamb ( yeah like a false prophet type of lamb ) and some of the other things wow when I read hos words its almost like I dont know does something to my head I cant explain it .

It really seems like events in the Middle East are proceeding toward a violent climax with Israel about to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, then Iran counter-attacking, and so on. And maybe in the shorter term, something like that will happen.
But according to prophecy shouldn’t we expect some type of rescue from the brink of obliteration–a treaty with Israel that sets up an unprecedented peace?
That’s what Oktar and his followers seem to be promoting–this False Peace. He says “It is wrong for Israel to consider itself like a stranger, because they are our sons, they are the People of the Book. They are the descendants of Prophet Abraham, would we ever let anyone touch or harm them? Would we ever let them be aggrieved?”
Maybe he feels that way, but as a whole Muslims are talking out of both sides of their mouth, what with rocket attacks on Israel, suicide bombers, etc.

The Golden Age is a time when Muslims, as well as Christians and Jews, will live in peace and ease. Contrary to the idea some masonic circles try to indoctrinate people with, the members of the Abrahamic faiths will not war against one another in the time of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). There will be no question of such phenomena as war, conflict, atom bombs, attacking Israel or shedding blood at the Kaaba in this holy age. On the contrary, Jerusalem will be a better, pleasanter and securer place than ever before, and peace will reign there, as in the rest of the world. I am a Muslim and this is my true belief.

There was a verbal offer made and a verbal acceptance. Some thought that this could be considered an agreement with prophetic implications involving the Temple Mount. The thought was also advanced that this verbal exchange might satisfy a biblical requirement and begin some timeline countdown. Joel, this is something that Randall commented on during your lecture in New Mexico - can you give some more details and a better answer? Randall, if you read this post, please comment.

What are your opinions on the “return” of the Islamic Jesus? Assuming that Issa appears, do you believe that he will declare himself the messiah or defer to the Mahdi?
I know that Islamic scholars disagree about the Mahdi, Issa, and Dajjal, and I certainly understand that we cannot rely on Islamic eschatology, but I’m fascinated by the possible twists and turns.

I have no real opinion as to what may or may not happen according to Islamic eschatology, as I ascribe zero “prophetic” quality to it. What is clear is their own traditions clearly set them up to follow the Antichrist / False Prophet thus revealing the demonic inspiration and evolution of this tradition. That said, it may be that a false Islamic Jesus / Isa claimant will come and call all to submit to Islam and a Caliph / Mahdi figure. Again, time will tell. Until then we will continue to proclaim the truth as an innoculation against the onslaught of lies to come.

I cringe when i see muslims refer to Israel as sons. Do they not realize that their religion wasn’t invented by until 600 years after Jesus Christ was crucified?

Leon you are correct about there being a reign of peace established by Jesus. But you won’t be around to see it if you don’t choose to accept him for who he is.

The prophet Joel said “‘IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,’ God says, ‘THAT I WILL POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL MANKIND’”. Some have interpreted this to mean that every person who is listening can hear the wind and direction of God’s Spirit, particularly in the “Last Days”.
If we simply take what these Muslims are saying, Leon, OGUZ and Mr. Oktar at a basic level, they know that God is going to wipe out injustice and establish his reign of “peace and tranquility”. Perhaps they are hearing that deposit of truth in their spirits.
The issue is, Leon and OGUZ, on whose terms will this period be established? Yours, or God’s? Will we recognize our utter depravity and separation from Him because of sin, and His complete provision for us in Jesus Christ? Or will we assume that our good deeds and obedience will outweigh our sins?
Christians have bowed their knees before the Creator God and humbly accepted His gift of forgiveness and life. Christians are now living in the Kingdom that, as a small seed will grow into a large tree, will eventually mature and be evident worldwide. Christ will reign as King, initially for 1000 years, and then eternally on a new Earth, per scripture.
