Beck on the Mahdi

Beck needs to have me on sometime. He gets a lot of his info wrong. Ayatollah Khomeini never banned “Twelvers”, as he himself was one. He banned the Hojjatieh of which Ahmadinejad is arguably a member of and which Mesbah Yazdi below is as well.

The day will come when Beck’s audience will lose interest if he fails to address this reality. I don’t think that time is quite here yet in the media kingdom, but it should be.

After reading my comment above, it did not come across as I wished. I follow Beck closely and there is nobody like him. His insight and focus is beyond amazing and his pursuit of exposing the facts is relentless.

What I meant above was that while Beck is leading the way with nobody even close in the realm of exposing vile corruption and evil, he has an audience that is tuned into media and world events such that if he jumps the gun too much, they will miss it and if he delays the start too much, his audience will notice it. Timing is key and while I think yesterday is too late for this message, I am sure Beck knows when to best break this truth on the airwaves.

When politics, world events, and this message intersect, I suspect there is a high probability Joel will be able to share these startling facts with Beck’s audience about the Mahdi and the Mahdi’s role in what we see going on right now in the Middle East and the rest of the world. This is a dangerous message in this newspeak nation we live in. FOX walks a narrow path and so many want to knock them off the trail and down completely.

    It will happen.

Joel Rosenberg said that Anne Curry from NBC News interviewed Ahmadinejad who claimed he was in contact w/Al Mahdi? Did anyone catch that during Beck’s video?

That is of interest to me…Ahmadinejad is firmly convinced that the Al Mahdi is here and it maybe that the time is near for the “unveiling” of Al Mahdi…but…underwhat circumstances? After the Nuclear bomb goes off from Iran at who knows where? Will the nuclear bomb going off cause Israel to sign a false peace treaty? There must be some catostrophic “trigger” to cause Bibi to sign this treaty. Otherwise, I can’t see Bibi doing this of his own free will against his people, I just can’t.

Beck is the only one reporting (albeit wrongly) about Islamic eschatology and prophectic biblical Scripture. Unfortunately, Rosenberg is more well-known to the public because of his easier-to-read successful novels than our beloved Joel who reports hard news facts on Islam. But campaigns are just that campaigns…and it is our job to help Beck see the true light. Beck just needs a little help for he is without a doubt highly interested in this subject and seeks to help educate his audience.

Our family dvr’s Glenn Beck’s program daily. We were so excited to see Joel Rosenberg be his guest again as that is how we initially watched Glenn when we heard through other believers that Rosenberg was going to be on with Glenn back back last year when Glenn had a show on Headline News. It’s kind of funny, but through Joel Rosenberg is also how I found Joel’s Trumpet and Joel Richardson as I was searching for Rosenberg’site after reading his fiction novels…

I agree that Glenn didn’t quite relate the big picture well in part due to not allowing his guest, Joel Rosenberg, to elaborate as Glenn does get excited and on his rolls :) You could tell Joel wanted to go deeper, but he stayed on track with the questions Glenn asked. Glenn just needs to be asking more pointed questions - maybe he’ll dig deeper and research this more. I send him information I feel is important from an eschatology Chrisitan point of view from time to time, but who knows what emails actually get to him?

My main concern regarding Glenn Beck is for his safety because should be ever break through the surface of what he’s scratching, there are evil forces that will do what they do to stop him from exposing their agendas, I’m sure…

I believe we need to keep watchdogs, truth exposers and those who help us connect the dots between prophecy and headlines, in prayer.

I think Beck is brave enough to run any story he believes is truth; however, he does answer to a major corporation and needs to be careful in various ways.

  6. jon Says:

Joel, get on Beck or the 700 Club and your book sells could go through the roof. :-)

  7. Charles Cameron (hipbone) Says:

    Hi Joel:

Yes, I was pretty sure Rosenberg was meaning the Hojjatieh when he called Khamenei “a secret, closet Twelver” — he and Beck both got that one wrong…

  8. StopSharia Says:

I would recommend that everyone on here email me@glennbeck.com asking Glenn to have Joel and Walid on. I think if they see dozens of requests, it will be hard to ignore.

Definitely keep Glenn and other whistle-blowers in your prayers…in this day and age, it is a dangereous job indeed!

  9. Daniel M Says:

I have sent Glen Beck a copy of Joel’s book and emailed him a number of times. Let’s keep up the pressure!

    Good4U & Others Interested,
Here is a portion of the transcript from the NBC Anne Curry interview with Ahmadinejad - found it on Joel Rosenberg’s site if anyone would like to read the entire interview, it’s there, but this is the portion you brought up and that Rosenberg mentioned on Beck’s show:

NBC’s Ann Curry: In your speeches, you pray for God to hasten the arrival of the hidden Imam, the Muslim messiah. Would you tell us, as I know you will speak about this at the general assembly, as well. What is your relationship with the hidden Imam, and how soon do you think before the second coming?

President Ahmadinejad: Yes, that’s true. I prayed for the arrival of the 12th Imam. The owner of the age, as we call him. Because the owner of the age is the symbol of the – justice and brotherly love prevailing around the world. When the Imam arrives, all of these problems will be resolved. And a prayer for the owner of the age is nothing but a wish for justice and brotherly love to prevail around the world. And it’s an obligation a person takes upon himself to always think about brotherly love. And also to treating others as equals. All people can establish such a connection with the Imam of the age. It’s roughly the same as the relationship which exists between Christians and the Christ. They speak with Jesus Christ and they are sure that Christ hears them. And responds. Therefore, this is not limited to us only. Any person can talk with the Imam.

Curry: You’ve said that you believe that his arrival, the apocalypse, would happen in your own lifetime. What do you believe that you should do to hasten his arrival?

Ahmadinejad: I have never said such a thing.

    Curry: Ah, forgive me.

    Ahmadinejad: I – I – I was talking about peace.

    Curry: Forgive me.

Ahmadinejad: What is being said about an apocalyptic war and – global war, things of that nature. This is what the Zionists are claiming. Imam…will come with logic, with culture, with science. He will come so that there is no more war. No more enmity, hatred. No more conflict. He will call on everyone to enter a brotherly love. Of course, he will return with Jesus Christ. The two will come back together. And working together, they would fill this world with love. The stories that have been disseminated around the world about extensive war, apocalyptic wars, so on and so forth, these are false.

Also noteworthy from Curry’s interview is that four times she asks Ahmadinejad to rule out any scenario by which Iran would develop nuclear weapons, and four times he pointedly refuses.
    END

  11. Mo Says:

Here is the full video of the interview. The transcript Gidget mentions comes from 36:44 to 40:26. Also, at around 00:15, when Ann Curry asked what would his message to America be, he answers with “prayer for arrival of the 12th Iman.”

  12. NoSurprisesAnymore Says:

I think Glenn Beck is slowly bringing things to light. I think he is smart enough to know that he has the attention of many that really don’t know what the world in in store for. I think that he is leading people to a conclusion by peaking their interest without appearing as a “fanatic.” He knows who his audience is and we have to remember that as much as we would all like to believe it isn’t true, society as a whole doesn’t see things the way most visitors to this site do.

Glenn is a talented entertainer and a newsman of days gone by. For those that have listened to him on the radio and now Fox News he is doing the same thing with other situations. It appears to me that he is putting all of the pieces out there and slowly putting them together. Each time he breaks out the Chalkboard more pieces come out.

I agree there were gaps in what he presented. I agree Rosenberg wanted to go deeper. I look for Beck to go deeper at a marked pace so that he does not “turn off” the masses. He builds a sound logical argument with most of the topics he presents and it is through that process that he will reach many. The question is, to what end?

  13. Dan Says:

Not a fan of Beck, but interesting segment.

  14. good4u Says:

Joel, who is Mesbah Yazdi? And is it the Hojjatieh that calls on Muslims to create as much anarchy as possible so that the Al-Mahdi will reveal himself?

  15. Mark P Says:

Hey Joel, I’ll see what I can do to get you on Beck. In the meantime, keep up the great work. =0)

  16. Mark J Says:

Why is it that it happens while reading something rather reasonable that Glenn Beck is interjected into it so as to provide some sort of intellectual credibility when in fact the opposite is true? I’ve listened to him on radio from years back, watched him on CNN and then later on FOX. Glenn Beck is a paid media actor acting on the whims of whomever pays him, tossed around on nearly all issues contradicting himself continually.

My last straw with him was several years back when he poo-pooed the notion of the FLDS of not being a persecuted sect of Christianity which it is clearly NOT any form at all of Christianity but a cult of age-old man centered Gnosticism. There are many other issues of his madness but that was the last one for me since, as a Christian, I was offended at the comparison and lack of differentiation. On CNN, his acting as a ‘wise’ commentator had been groomed and polished to be as ’shock jocked’ as he could be, crossing boundaries of reasoning and common logic at every turn, leading peoples minds down a slippery slope of misfired reasoning and misconduct, taking advantage of peoples’ hearts for the purpose of paid advertisement and book sales. Not so stunningly, FOX picks him up after CNN and makes him act even more bizzare and illogical, arming his rhetoric with select pieces of 20+ year old conspiracy theory crap coming out of the anarchists like Alex Jones so as to broaden their viewership I suppose or perhaps to redefine Christian conservatism to be senseless, fearful and spiritually bankrupt. It might make good entertainment, but to actually take to heart and mind his rants and perceived insanity is psychologically and spiritually dangerous.

He is a media actor and not even a good actor. If you seek entertainment, turn on the comedians at least.

QUOTE: Joel, who is Mesbah Yazdi? And is it the Hojjatieh that calls on Muslims to create as much anarchy as possible so that the Al-Mahdi will reveal himself? :UNQUOTE

Mesbah Yazdi is the conservative ayatollah who appears to be Ahmadinejad’s spiritual director. The Hojjatieh is popularly supposed to call for “as much anarchy as possible so that the Al-Mahdi will reveal himself” but there’s some question as to what it did or does teach. Harvard’s Noah Feldman, for instance, tells us:

QUOTE: One small, semi-secret Iranian organization, the Hojjatiya Society, was banned and persecuted by Khomeini’s government in part for its quiescent view that the mahdi’s arrival could not be hastened. :UNQUOTE
