Turkey and the Caliphate

The following article is written by the pro-Caliphate web-site Khalifah.
Certainly some interesting insights into the mind of the political Muslim.
Of course, beware of all of the expected typical - and quite tired - moral equivalency routine / historical revisionism etc. But you’re all smart enough already to know that… :)

Turkey in Europe

وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلاَ النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ
“And they will not be pleased with you until you follow their way.” (TMQ 2:120)

It was no surprise when it was recently announced (13th October 2006) that there was to be a French parliamentary vote which would make it a crime to deny that Armenians suffered ‘genocide’ at the hands of the Ottoman Turks in 1915.

The bill, tabled by the opposition but opposed by the French government, needs approval from the Senate and president and provides for a year in jail and a 45,000 Euro fine - the same punishment that is imposed for denying the Nazi Holocaust.

The issue at hand is not to focus on the legitimacy of such claims and its details. This requires a scrutiny of historical documents, their authors, the political motivation and context for such historical documentation and indeed any action of the Ottoman State at that time. During this period the Ottoman State was effectively colonised and directed by the British and the French, who influenced much of the State policy and sought by any means to divide and weaken the Ottoman State creating and supporting rebellions and counter-nationalist movements against the central Ottoman authority.

Instead of the above, the focus of events in France should be on two areas. Firstly, the irony of the bill tabled in a country that has a well documented brutal and genocidal colonial history. If yearly memorials were to be held to account for French genocidal colonial rule in Africa – many dates would have to be added to the calendar to represent each country that brutally suffered at the hands of France.

Benin, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Senegal and Madagascar experienced periods of harsh repression as recent as in the 1940s, little of which is taught in French schools today. In 1947, for example, French troops massacred thousands of people in Madagascar in order to quell a rebellion. Meanwhile Algeria has consistently demanded a public apology for the 1.5 million people killed in the 1954-1962 Algerian war of independence.

“There is a real risk that we will end up hiding the crimes and the racism that are inherent in the fact of colonialism,” said Claude Liauzu, a historian of France’s colonial past at the University of Paris.

Shamelessly, the French Parliament voted through a new law on how to teach colonial history. In an otherwise innocuous text bearing on the treatment of “pieds noirs” and “harkis” - returned expatriates and Algerians who remained loyal to France - Article Four has given rise to accusations that French schoolchildren are to get a sanitised version of the experience in Algeria and elsewhere. “School programmes are to recognise in particular the positive role of the French presence overseas, especially in North Africa, and give an eminent place … to the sacrifices of fighters for the French army raised in these territories,” the law reads.

One wonders whether the French opposition parties that tabled the bill concerning Turkey would be equally motivated to pass a bill against those who deny the well documented genocidal atrocities that France committed during its brutal colonial rule.

The second issue and the sole objective from the proposed bill is the emphatic desire to prevent Turkey’s accession into the European Union. The reasons that have been flaunted to prevent Turkey’s entry have been many and diverse; from human rights violations, poor economic conditions, the lack of a civilian government and more recently this proposed bill in France. However, the real issue for Europe is simply one matter - Turkey is a Muslim country, which will sit within a ‘Christian’ union. Even Pope Benedict is not too endeared with Turkey’s proposed entry, but that should be expected given his recent intended remarks.

The containment of the rise of Islam in Europe has become the central policy discussion for all Europeans countries. The politicisation of Muslims globally and the increasing desire of Muslims to return to Islamic rule under the Caliphate (Khilafah) is already a burning matter in Europe…so to add Turkey’s entry into Europe into this equation, which was the last vestige of the Caliphate – only adds fuel to the fire.

It is argued by some that Turkey’s entry into Europe would banish any desire to return to the Caliphate within Turkey; but that is a naïve view, which even the European politicians recognise. As the Muslims globally work politically towards the restoration of the Caliphate somewhere in the Muslim world - the Muslims in Turkey are no exception to this and neither is Turkey as a candidate to become the restored Caliphate.

From Chapter 10 of Antichrist: Islam’s Awaited Messiah:

The Turkish Empire was the seat of the Islamic Caliphate. It was not until 1923 that the Islamic Caliphate was officially abolished. Today the Islamic world is awaiting the restoration of that Caliphate. The Bible teaches that someday soon the Turkish Empire will be revived.

The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because he once was, then he was not, and yet came again. Revelation 17:8

At that time, we may expect to see the Islamic Caliphate restored. Eventually this position will possibly be given to a man whom the Muslim world would refer to as the Mahdi, but whom people of understanding would identify as the man known biblically as the Antichrist.

Even the secularisation of Turkey since 1924 at the hands of the traitor and European agent Mustapha Kemal never removed the principle Islamic identity, emotion and connection to Islamic history of the Turkish society as a whole – even with the relative successful effort of westernising the main cities. The success and growth of Islamic based political parties in Turkey and recent murmurings of concern from the ‘guardians’ of the Turkish constitution, the army, about the threat of the ‘Islamicisation’ of Turkey are two good indicators of this.

Clearly Europe and generally the ‘west’ will not tolerate a Muslim country and indeed a Muslim people until they remove Islam from their life, identity, culture and values. The willingness of western governments to contradict and fundamentally forego much of their principle values in order to victimise, incarcerate and generate a climate of intimidation on the Muslims is a clear evidence of this.

Therefore the unease in Europe concerning Turkey joining the European Union should be a matter of pride for the Muslims of Turkey – for it is a recognition of their Islamic roots and identity that has been established upon a deep Iman.

What is left for the Muslims of Turkey is to regain the dignity, authority and respect that Europe held for Turkey when it was the Caliphate, the Khilafah. This Khilafah will not be the Othmani Khilafah of the 1700, 1800 or 1900’s – but the Khilafah built upon its root i.e. the Quran and Sunnah and upon the method of Prophet Muhammad (saw).

This Khilafah will then shine, not as the sick man of Europe that was colonised; but politically and militarily independent, economically vibrant and progressive, socially secure and stable for all its citizens, technologically advanced and above all – the sole practical alternative to the decadent western secular and capitalist life that has its history and growth firmly bedded in the genocide of other nations and the sustained exploitation of their children today.

“They which to put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah insists that His light prevails even though they detest it. It is He who sent His Messenger with the Guidance and Deen of Truth so that it will prevail over all other ways of life, even though they detest it….” (TMQ 8:32/33)

Sometimes when I read the news and articles such as this one, it feels as if I am watching some surreal docudrama about the rebirth of some bizarre version of Hitler’s dream. Yet, it is real…right here in our face…and the world marches on *almost* as if nothing is happening. To me, this is such a strong spritual confirmation that we are living out the last days as described by Jesus. I feel like some super-aware character in the middle of a very strange story.

    Hi Joel,

Great article, nice find. It reminded me of the Topkapi Sarayi palace in Istanbul. Mohammad’s sword and other personal relics are there. Here is a website with a photo of the items if anyone is interested.

    Hey Seeker,

How about this. Its the REV. 2:13,13:2 throne paradigm:

“To the angel of the church in Pergamum write:
These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword. I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives.” REV. 2:13

“And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.” REV. 13:2

So first we are told that Satan’s throne is located in Pergamum (Asia Minor) and next the Dragon (Satan) is said to give the Beast (Antichrist, and His Empire) his throne.

Certainly seems to suggest Turkey as the location of the headquarters of the Beast Empire to me. What do you think?

Yes I would agree. There is another verse I use in conjunction with the two you reference. Easy to remember, it has the same digits as the other two as well.

Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

Of course a bit later in Rev 12 it defines the red dragon as Satan. The red dragon (Satan) has 7 heads/10 horns. We have a 7 headed/10 horned “scarlet” beast in Rev 17. Scarlet is another word for “red”.

Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

To me this suggests that Rev 17 is speaking of the “kingdom of Satan” with the woman (city) being the capital of this kingdom. Pergamos is modern day Bergama, Turkey. As the Romans were filling the vacuum left by the Greek empire, the Babylonian priests fled to Pergamos to escape the Romans.

In Pergamos they established their Babylonina religion once again. Pergamos had the altar of Zues and the entire area was influenced by Satan. The 7 churches were all located in what we know as Turkey today. They were all in a fairly small geographic area. This area was under heavy Satanic influence. 4 of the 7 churches in one way or another were being influenced by Satan in the book of Rev. John was in exile on the island of Patmos, just off the Turkish coast.

This is sort of how I form my view that the 7/8 kings of Rev 17 are actually describing 7/8 empires who have ruled over Satan’s empire throughout time. All these empires have also ruled over Israel during their reign. Everything else in Rev 17 seems to help define the woman (city) so I tend to view the 7/8 kings as also being related to the woman rather than just being empires who have ruled over Israel as the common interpretation suggests.

If you look at this general area where Pergamos is you will find the heart of what I believe has been Satan’s homebase throughout the ages. This general area has been in all of the empires who have ruled over Israel. Just a theory but I do feel it has some biblical weight to it. Regardless I do agree that John said that Pergamos was Satan’s seat where he dwells. I add this to the fact that Constantinople was founded on 7 hills. Constantinople (Istanbul) is probably within a 100 miles of Pergamos in the general area of the Babylonian influence. Just seems to fit together nicely.

    Peace,
    Seeker
