Interview With Harun Yahya
An absolutely essential interview to watch.
Scholar Timothy Furnish, former US military interrogator
and author of Holiest Wars, (highly recommended) interviews Harun Yahya, the Turkish Mahdist / Caliphatist - Click Here. Forward the interview to about 12:12 and take it from there.

What a clever and deceptive presentation of Islam. Could it be possible that this will be the means by which the world and Israel will be lured into accepting a “covenant with death” as described in Isaiah 28:15-18?

The sky is red… It is coming, soon to a theater near you… If the western church and the western world keeps on ignoring the clear signs of the end of times the price we will have to pay will be inmense.

I found the comment that the Mahdi will not know himself to be the Mahdi to be the most interesting part of this very informative interview, as well as the similar comment that the “resurrected Jesus” will likewise not know himself to be that personage until others recognize him as such. This has profound implications for how these two people will initially present themselves to the world and the situation in which it could take place.

Not that our imaginations necessarily matter all that much, but what Harun Yahya has articulated here is precisely how I imagine it all developing. A “peace and love’ Caliphate, a “peace and love” Mahdi and Jesus, though none of them necessarily being called such. And all of it led by Turkey. Then the wonderful “peace and love” peace treaty. It all starts out so nice…

This is absolutely fascinating! Just amazing to see this thinking in action! Also amazing that he sees the global financial crisis as part of the coming of mahdi just as it can easily be discerned that its also a set up for the antichrist to dominate world finances. He sees the same signs that we see and we see antichrist when he sees mahdi.
Joel, maybe you could speak to this…Yahya continually refers to the “resurrection of Jesus Christ.” Maybe I missed something but don’t they believe that Jesus was never killed but rather translated or something?

Joel,
The post that Luke wrote above may speak to the area in your first book concerning possible objections that may be brought up concerning this paradigm. Specifically I mean the objection that a muslim would never claim to be God. According to Yahya, the mahdi wouldn’t need to necessarily claim it, wouldn’t want the title or would be disqualified if he were to take it. If his followers simply recognized him without he himself claiming the position, he could act it out and yet appear to be remaining consistant with Islam and do so with some cover.
It’s so obvious this opperation is being presented as peace, love and happiness to all the world with great and long expected leaders re-appearing on the planet to carry it along. What a profound deception we are upon given that the majority of the planet doesn’t see this coming. What startles me the most is the assurance he gives that Christians will see “Jesus” and convert to Islam. There’s never been a better time than now to study Matt. 24.

Jeremiah,
I’m curious about that word “resurrection” as well. I’m wondering if this is a translation issue. But overall, I think that in this interview, we see the nature of what is coming. The Mahdi and the Caliphate does not necessarily need to claim to be either one, but will simply be received as such. This is the position of Fethullah Gulen, the wealthy Turkish intellectual Mahdist as well.

Jon, I want to thank you for the link you found for this video. I’ve been reading everything on this site for about two years and this is the first time I was able to see a video that has been posted here. Usually I read the comments that people leave and try to figure out what the video was about.

Joel, glad to see you mention Fethullah Gulen. If there is a ‘new age’ aspect to islam this guy presents it well. I have read Erdogan is a propent/follower of him. Do you have any more insight into this man ?
God Bless
Davdi

I spoke with a representative from Mr. Okhtar’s organization. He confirmed that “resurrection” is not the right translation.
He then stated that “Mr. Oktar is mentioning about the 2nd coming, Jesus’ reappearance in this world where we are subjected to time and space dimensions.”

This interview was really something. He speaks in a way
that even the average Joe could understand what the end
time views of Islam are.
The way the Mahdi is portrayed (Love,Peace,”feeling” him) sounds quite a bit like the description of the Matryia but from the Islamic standpoint.
Great find. I agree everyone should listen to this.

Thanks Joel for that research!

After posting this interview here, Mr. Okhtar’s assistant e-mailed me and invited me to do my own interview. Of course, I could not travel to turkey right now, so I did it via e-mail. I submitted my questions and expect to hear back in a few days or so.
